Code Enforcement Officer Chung-
• Status quo update
• Code Compliance Phone-954-9213061

Fire Chief Jeff Levy and Lawrence-
• New to Fire Dept. cell 954-329-5425/ office 954-967-4248
• Fire Chief brings 2 decades of service to Hollywood
• Betsy, the 100 yr. Old fire engine will be at ArtsPark Nov.22nd
• No #1 reason for fires are due to cooking in the kitchen
• New Cobra Unit will take out electrical fires, esp. w/ uptick in electrical cars
• CPR classes at Memorial Hospital- no more mouth-mouth resuscitation
• Our calls: 71% ems, 5% fire, calls per mo. 65 ocean rescue calls for Oct.
• New Teenage Cadet Program for 14-17 yr. Olds for credit
• 5 New Drone Water Rescues are being used, only 1 drowning
• Fire Hydrants are constantly checked and being flushed out
• Fireboat rescues w/ long hose available during water shut offs for Hollywood
• Exclusion Bouys need commission approval to draft a vote to go to state, Dania Beach has no buoys

Caryl Shuham- Hollywood Commissioner
• New Controlled Mooring Field, $6 million dollar project, bathrooms, showers, laundry, $40 per nite, low for the area
• Caryl added that all will be able to access their homes
• Fishing pier being mended
• Sand trap ribbon cutting Nov. 17th @ noon ay State Park Jetty, this took 30 yrs. To begin. Main goal is to bring sand to the beaches, might also help cruise and freight Ships.
• Watch for homeless sleeping in cars now that their is cold weather
• Neptune Hotel bought w/ 5 blocks, possibly @ 5 acres by GG investments by Oklahoma Street, who wish to start a precedent of 65 feet, 40 percent Affordable housing
• This month is the last of this yrs. King Tides and Rain Bombs
• 1301- is introducing new plans to reduce down for better land use and to be more Environmentally friendly
• Dec. 2nd- Broward County Zoom Meeting on Resiliency. Possibly we could mention our issues w/ the Buoy Project •Sand Dune Replenishment Project is being taken over by the county. Dr. Lee Gottlieb is concerned they will hurt all the existing dunes.

Dr. Missy Williams- The Jane Goodall of South Florida
Discussed the monkeys that are wild, about 40 and the 8 in the habitat.

• She insisted that the 5 acres of federally protected mangrove land stay protected for wildlife, monkeys, and water protection. She stated that a developer wants to build a 62,000 sq.ft. warehouse in The middle of the 160 acres of mangroves north of the Dania cut canal. Caryl believes this project was turned down by Broward County.
